Around, all around, the furies gather.
My dread grows as an avenging sword falls against my heart.
It smites me, and darkly my
essence drips to the broken ground.
In numbness I cry out, Why?!
while oblivion laughs cruelly.
Now alone, my vitae falls upon wailing eyes.
